Entering Nisan: A Season of Preparation, New Beginnings & Trust

Entering Nisan: A Season of Preparation, New Beginnings & Trust

A gentle reminder for this season

Hello 🤍 I wanted to share something simple but meaningful for this season.

We are entering the biblical month of Nisan, which represents new beginnings, deliverance, and preparation. Throughout Scripture, this is a time where God begins to move His people into something new—but before that, He often calls them to pause, reset, and consecrate themselves.

We see this in Joshua 5, when the children of Israel had already crossed into a new place, yet God told them to stop and consecrate themselves before moving forward. It wasn’t about rushing into the promise—it was about being spiritually prepared for it.

Sometimes we think moving forward means doing more… but often, it begins with slowing down and making space for God.

 This can look simple:

Spending a little extra time with Him

  • - Being more intentional in your day

 - Inviting Him into your home and your decisions

Today, I felt led to fast and pray over my home—just creating space for God to move more freely.

Placed in His Hands 🤍

As I sat with this, I was also reminded of the story of Jesus feeding the thousands.

There were so many people… and so little to give. Just a few loaves and fish.

From a natural perspective, it wasn’t enough.

But Jesus didn’t ask for more—He simply took what was already there, blessed it, and multiplied it.

And that’s what stood out to me:

God doesn’t need “enough,” He just needs what you’re willing to place in His hands.

In this season, you may feel like:

  • You don’t have enough time
  • You don’t have enough resources
  •  You don’t feel ready

But God is not limited by what you see.

When you surrender what you do have—your time, your heart, your yes—He has the ability to multiply it in ways you never could.

 A Gentle Invitation 🤍

This isn’t about pressure or perfection.

 It’s simply an invitation.

 An invitation to:

 - Draw closer

 - Reset your heart

-Trust God with what you have

Because before God does something new, He often prepares us first. And what you place in His hands… He will multiply
